Hip-Hop workout for men: Yoga, standing ab workout and the elliptical
Hip-hop, rock, and rap are a staple of the daily lives of many American and Westerners, but are rarely considered exercise.
The popularity of hip-hop and other hip-influenced music is one reason, as many Americans tend to think of exercise as a pastime.
Yet, there are some exercises that can enhance and boost your health, especially those that include physical activity.
The elliptical has become a popular workout for the elderly, with more than 7 million American adults now participating in elliptical training, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Although there is no scientific evidence to support a link between exercise and health, some studies suggest it may be beneficial for the heart.
Researchers at the University of Michigan and the University at Buffalo found that people who exercised for five minutes a day in a group setting were significantly less likely to have a heart attack than those who exercised alone.
There are other benefits to doing elliptical exercises.
For one, it can lower blood pressure, which is also important for healthy arteries.
While most people are not getting enough exercise, the amount of time they spend sitting in front of a computer is not always enough to meet their daily physical needs, according the Mayo Center for Cardiovascular Research.
Another benefit is the ability to exercise in an elliptical position.
When doing so, the muscles on your back are pushed to the sides of the body.
“It allows you to take a lot of strain off of the muscles,” said Dr. James Lutz, professor of cardiovascular medicine and director of the Mayo Cardiovascular Program.
It’s important to keep in mind that doing a long, continuous session of aerobic exercise without doing any cardio, such as brisk walking, is not the same as doing cardio for hours at a time.
What is Hip-Pop Fitness?
A hip-pop workout is a workout that combines traditional yoga, hip-dancing, and rock and roll with a bit of rock, dance, and hip-hip.
Dr. David J. Kahan, co-founder of the Hip-Op Fitness Institute, said there are four types of hip hop workout: Hip-Rock Hip-Dancing Hip-A-Ling Hip-Singing It is important to note that these are just a few options for doing hip-rock, hip dancing, and/or hip-singing.
Hip-pop workouts can also be performed as part of a routine that includes yoga or yoga/hip-dance, depending on the individual.
